Job Description

Overview

The Assistant Property Manager at Real Estate Equities is responsible for supporting the Property Manager in various tasks to ensure the smooth operation and management of properties. This includes exceptional customer service, resident relations, training staff, and maintaining budget controls.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Assist in training and supervising on-site staff.
  • Meet and greet prospects in person and on the phone.
  • Manage resident inquiries and service requests.
  • Participate in rent collection and maintain site records.
  • Conduct community inspections as directed.
  • Assist in budget maintenance and marketing outreach.
  • Support resident activities and maintain property appeal.
  • Help schedule vendors and assist with maintenance requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Minimum of three years in property management and leasing agent experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with Yardi and Knock
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
