Lumina Advisors is looking for a talented Associate Software Engineer to join their development team in Washington, D.C. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle technical challenges and deliver high-quality software.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy maintainable and scalable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code while participating in code reviews.
  • Identify bottlenecks, debug production issues, and optimize application performance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and drive engineering best practices.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern development workflows.
