Overview

US Tech Solutions is seeking an Associate Scientist to join their Pathology Lab in South San Francisco, CA. This role involves developing and implementing specialized tissue-based assays to support preclinical model development, with a strong focus on immunohistochemistry (IHC) laboratory techniques. The ideal candidate is an early-career scientist with 1-2 years of experience in the field and is eager to contribute to collaborative projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement histopathology assays including IHC and multiplex IHC assays
  • Perform image analysis and manage data documentation
  • Collaborate with Pathologists, Scientists, and Research Associates on multiple projects
  • Support assay development for target qualification and biomarker development
  • Operate staining platforms and imaging systems

Required skills

  • Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
  • Digital Image Analysis
  • Experience with automated staining workflows
  • Hands-on laboratory experience in assay development
  • Molecular biology knowledge
  • Experience with Leica Bond, Ventana, Dako, and/or Intellipath
