Overview

Monroe Moxness Berg is seeking an Associate Real Estate Attorney to join their team in Minneapolis. This role will primarily support the acquisition, development, sale, and leasing of commercial properties, collaborating closely with real estate and mergers & acquisitions teams on various legal matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the acquisition, development, sale, and leasing of properties
  • Draft and review commercial real estate agreements, including leases and purchase agreements
  • Conduct title and survey reviews, and manage due diligence processes
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders during closings
  • Manage multiple transaction tasks, ensuring timelines and checklists are followed

Required skills

  • 1-5 years of commercial real estate experience
  • Strong drafting skills with attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of title and survey review and the closing process
  • Sound judgment in communication and issue identification
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or eligible for admission
