We serve children ages 6 weeks to 12 years through a variety of full-time and part-time programs. Our top priority is to nurture young hearts and develop young minds.We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Preschool (GSRP) Teacher to join our team. Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate preschool program for young childrenPlan and implement lessons in a four-year-old classroom setting.Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.Provide nutritious snacks and lunchesProvide adequate equipment and activitiesEnsure equipment and the facility are clean, well-maintained, and safe at all timesProvide weekly and monthly schedules of activitiesDevelop culturally appropriate programs and activitiesDevelop activities that introduce math and literacy conceptsEstablish policies and procedures, including acceptable disciplinary policiesBe familiar with emergency procedures2. Supervise children in the PreschoolEnsure children are always supervisedProvide various experiences and activities for children, including songs, games, and storytellingBuild childrens esteemComfort childrenEstablish routines and provide positive guidanceProvide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortableImplement positive discipline when requiredClearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understandObserve children and make note of progressIntegrate special needs children in a positive and respectful manner3. Communicate with parents and members of the communityDiscuss childrens development with parentsDiscuss identified problems and needs with professionals as appropriateParticipate in community activitiesPromote literacy and early education4. Maintain program administrationKeep parents informed of program expectations, program activities, and their childs progressDevelop and maintain current, accurate, and confidential client filesDevelop daily activity plansMonitor the program budgetQualifications:Education: Must possess a CDA certification or higher.
