Overview

The Associate Pastor/Youth Director at Holly Spring Friends Meeting serves as a mentor and leader for the youth and young adult programs of the church. This role involves directing ministry activities, coordinating efforts with the church's overall programs, and providing pastoral support in worship and youth services.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and develop youth and young adult programs
  • Assist the Pastor in worship services and preaching for youth Sundays
  • Conduct intentional visitation of children/youth and their families
  • Facilitate weekly Youth Meetings with set goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with the Park Outreach Team for outreach opportunities
  • Provide a balanced program in education, service, fundraising, recreation, and worship
  • Evaluate and implement ministry health and vision for youth programs
  • Build relationships through participation in VBS and Children's Church
  • Communicate regularly with the Senior Pastor regarding ministry plans
  • Develop a budget for programming needs

Required skills
