An opportunity for a mid-to-senior level M&A associate to join a leading corporate practice advising on complex mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic transactions. The role offers significant client exposure, hands-on responsibility, and the opportunity to take a leading role in transaction execution. Client Details This global law firm operates across nearly 50 offices in 29 countries and advises many of the world's leading corporations and financial institutions. Renowned for its M&A capabilities, the firm is involved in complex, high-profile transactions and offers exceptional training, development, and international collaboration opportunities. Description Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution of transactions. Draft, review, and revise legal documents related to M&A deals. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes. Conduct due diligence and identify potential legal risks in transactions. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices impacting M&A activities. Provide counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters related to transactions. Support senior attorneys in complex legal matters and strategic decision-making. Profile A successful candidate should have: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in New York or eligibility to practice law in New York. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating legal documents. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients. Job Offer Salary ranging from $225,000 to $435,000, depending on JD year and other relevant factors. Eligibility to receive discretionary annual bonus. Hybrid working arrangement.
