Overview

Wilde Law is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join their personal injury law firm in Sandy, Utah. The ideal candidate will be an organized and persuasive attorney who enjoys handling litigation cases and is eager to grow within a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Drafting legal pleadings, motions, discovery, demand letters, mediation statements, and arbitration briefs
  • Preparing for and participating in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and jury trials
  • Communicating regularly with clients to update them on their cases
  • Negotiating with insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and opposing parties
  • Analyzing case details, including liability, damages, and litigation strategy
  • Preparing cases for trial, including working with witnesses and experts
  • Arguing motions before judges in court
  • Collaborating with support staff and team members on case management
  • Maintaining organization across an active caseload
  • Using case management software to track case progress and deadlines

Required skills

  • 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred
  • Licensed to practice law in Utah or eligible for admission
  • Strong legal writing skills
  • Courtroom experience and ability to argue motions
  • Experience with personal injury litigation preferred
  • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus
  • Familiarity with case management software, specifically Filevine
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word
  • Familiarity with Westlaw and CoCounsel
