Overview

The Associate, Internal Sales, Retail Distribution at BMO Financial is responsible for promoting and selling BMO Global Asset Management investment and portfolio solutions within internal distribution channels. The role entails executing sales coaching calls to Personal Bankers, supporting sales activities, and developing strategic relationships to enhance retail mutual fund sales.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and sell investment and portfolio solutions within internal distribution channels.
  • Initiate and execute sales coaching calls to Personal Bankers.
  • Support and participate in sales activities and events.
  • Provide internal phone sales support for BMO Global Asset Management.
  • Engage in coaching and training sessions via phone/video.
  • Analyze metrics to identify coaching and training opportunities.
  • Create and maintain relationships with internal partners.
  • Develop sales tools and strategies for investment products.
  • Assist Regional Senior Associates in territory management.
  • Conduct presentations on selling techniques and best practices.

Required skills

  • Track record in investment sales results.
  • Completion of IFIC or CSC courses.
  • University degree or College diploma in a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services and investment sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of BMO Funds and Mutual Funds organization.
  • Strong relationship management and client communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
  • Familiarity with retail investment products.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Proactive, driven, and motivated attitude.

  • Salaried position with a range of $45,500.00 - $84,500.00.
