Job Description

Overview

The Associate, Internal Sales, Retail Distribution at BMO Financial will be responsible for promoting and selling investment and portfolio solutions within internal distribution channels. This role includes providing sales coaching and support to Personal Bankers and collaborating with Regional Sales Managers to implement sales strategies for retail investment products.

Key responsibilities

  • Promote and sell BMO Global Asset Management investment products through internal distribution channels.
  • Initiate and execute sales coaching calls to Personal Bankers.
  • Provide internal sales support for Mutual Funds and investment solutions.
  • Engage in coaching and training sessions via phone and video.
  • Identify coaching and training opportunities through metric analysis.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal partners.
  • Develop sales tools and strategies for increasing retail mutual fund sales.
  • Conduct best practices sessions and presentations on selling techniques.

Required skills

  • Track record of investment sales performance
  • Completion of IFIC or CSC
  • University degree or College diploma
  • Minimum 3 years in financial services and investment sales
  • In-depth knowledge of BMO Funds and Mutual Funds
  • Proven sales and client relationship management experience
  • Strong relationship, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Familiarity with retail investment products
