Job Description

Overview

Genesis10 is seeking an Associate in Quality Control (QC) Chemistry to support a major biopharmaceutical company in Holly Springs, NC. This role involves ensuring operational readiness of the QC laboratory while working in a GMP-regulated environment, with responsibilities including system qualifications, method transfers, and providing routine operational support.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with site teams to implement work order and preventative maintenance systems for laboratory equipment
  • Review and contribute to validation documentation for equipment and computerized systems
  • Draft, revise, and review technical and quality documentation such as SOPs and validation reports
  • Assist in the procurement of laboratory consumables and critical reagents
  • Coordinate and execute training and method transfer activities for various chemistry-based platforms
  • Participate in audits, quality initiatives, and cross-functional projects
  • Provide routine operational support during weekends and public holidays
  • Perform laboratory testing of manufactured materials

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant laboratory experience in a GMP pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience with Empower software and analytical laboratory techniques
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
  • Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards
  • Experience with method validation and transfer
  • Familiarity with laboratory systems such as LIMS
