Job Description

Overview

BHE GT&S is seeking an Associate Health & Safety Specialist, Health & Safety Specialist, or Sr. Health & Safety Specialist at the Cove Point LNG Facility in Lusby, Maryland. This role involves managing worker safety programs across multiple LNG facilities, advising on safety policies and programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage worker safety programs for multiple LNG facilities
  • Recommend and administer safety and fire protection policies
  • Provide oversight, coaching, technical support, and training on safety matters
  • Act as a first responder to safety incidents and evaluate accident data
  • Conduct root cause analysis of safety incidents and recommend preventive actions
  • Perform safety and fire protection inspections
  • Monitor work practices to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop safety training programs and presentations
  • Assist in accident prevention and risk reduction planning

Required skills
