Overview

Vantive is seeking an Associate Director of Supply Chain Development to lead their Global Supply Chain Development team. This role involves driving cross-functional improvement initiatives within the Planning and Fulfillment functions, focusing on enhancing service levels and cost optimization, while supporting the company's mission to innovate kidney care.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of a 3-to-5-year roadmap for the Planning and Fulfillment function
  • Manage supply chain transformation projects to optimize costs while improving service
  • Support operational synchronization through process and data improvements
  • Facilitate Planning-to-Fulfillment handoffs to reduce service failures
  • Collaborate with leaders to clarify global Planning & Fulfillment operating models
  • Implement policies ensuring adherence and sustainability within Planning and Fulfillment
  • Identify performance improvement and capability development opportunities
  • Analyze complex supply chain problems and develop actionable solutions
  • Maintain awareness of trends influencing supply chain priorities

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field; MBA or MS preferred
  • 5-8 years of supply chain development, planning, and operations experience
  • Experience with cross-functional teams and project management
  • Knowledge of Integrated Supply Chain functions: Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Planning, Fulfillment
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Analytical skills for data synthesis and actionable goal setting
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills with ability to challenge assumptions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Advanced Excel
  • Experience in global supply chain and medical device manufacturing preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable in ambiguous situations
