Job Description

Overview

The University of Illinois Counseling Center is seeking an Associate Director of Psychological Assessment and Testing Services. This role involves senior-level administrative responsibilities within a diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing culturally competent psychological services to a diverse student population. The Associate Director will work closely with the Executive Director to manage and enhance testing services that support students' academic and personal development.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain policies and procedures for psychological testing services
  • Provide administrative and strategic oversight for testing operations
  • Conduct psychological testing and assessment feedback to clients
  • Supervise staff and oversee testing, evaluation, and analysis
  • Network and consult with various university departments
  • Assess service delivery and assist in setting operational objectives
  • Provide supervision and training for pre-doctoral interns and trainees
  • Engage in outreach and consultation services to campus community

Required skills

  • Doctorate in Clinical, Clinical/Community, Counseling Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed psychologist in Illinois or transferable license
  • Minimum of five years post-internship professional experience
  • Experience in administrative, supervisory, and clinical roles
  • Knowledge of psychological assessment and testing practices
  • Ability to conduct clinical assessments and treatment planning
