Overview

The Associate Director, National Accounts at BMO Financial is responsible for managing complex financial needs for automotive dealership groups and similar clients. This role includes financial analysis, credit writing, and client relationship management, aiming to ensure high-quality loan submissions and maintain exceptional client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide financial analysis and risk assessment for new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop financial models and analytical tools.
  • Prepare detailed written analysis of credit requests and submissions.
  • Make lending decisions and recommendations in compliance with policies.
  • Monitor and manage assigned portfolio of accounts.
  • Coordinate customized lending proposals and pitches to clients.
  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders on credit-related requests.
  • Provide thought leadership on automotive industry trends.
  • Manage workflow and resources efficiently to support client deliverables.

Required skills

  • Undergraduate/Graduate degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or economics/commerce.
  • 4-5 years of experience in accounting, financial/credit analysis, or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively in teams.
