Job Description

Overview

Vantive is seeking an Associate Director for Global Sales, Inventory, and Operational Planning (SIOP) to manage and enhance the global SIOP process. This role focuses on translating complex data into actionable insights and driving alignment across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in facilitating decision-making and continuous improvement within the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end global SIOP process and ensure timely completion of all steps.
  • Prepare and validate data for Global SIOP meetings.
  • Develop and maintain standard SIOP analytics, dashboards, and reports.
  • Act as a coordinator between regional and global SIOP forums.
  • Support inventory management by identifying risks and documenting decisions.
  • Escalate supply and capacity constraints with clear analysis and options.
  • Manage SIOP policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Drive process governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit and manage planning process excellence staff.

Required skills

  • BA/BS degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning roles.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply planning process improvement.
  • Hands-on experience in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced planning systems and analytics.
  • Experience with Kinaxis Maestro/RapidResponse or similar planning systems.
  • Experience with JDE or similar ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and analytics tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Effective collaboration and influencing skills across functions.
