Levin & Nalbandyan LLP is seeking a driven Associate Attorney specializing in Workers' Compensation, with 1-3 years of relevant experience to join their dynamic legal team. The firm aims to provide exceptional legal services through a data-driven approach and a commitment to client-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution.
  • Represent injured workers in hearings, depositions, and mandatory settlement conferences.
  • Conduct client intake and maintain empathetic communication with clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and correspondence.
  • Handle discovery, including depositions of parties and medical/legal experts.
  • Negotiate settlements and prepare related agreements.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants to move cases forward.
  • Stay current on changes in California workers' compensation law.

Required skills

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • 1-3 years of experience in workers' compensation matters
  • Strong advocacy, negotiation, and legal writing skills
  • Courtroom confidence and professionalism
