Key responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution.
  • Represent injured workers in hearings, depositions, and mandatory settlement conferences.
  • Conduct client intake and maintain regular communication with clients.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and correspondence.
  • Handle discovery, including depositions of parties and medical/legal experts.
  • Negotiate settlements and prepare compromise & release agreements.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Stay current on changes in California workers' compensation law.

Required skills
