Associate Attorney - Plaintiff Personal Injury (0-3 Years) Encino, CA Full-Time $90,000 - $130,000 per year, DOEAbout Us California Accident Firm, APC is a boutique, rapidly growing Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm with a strong reputation throughout California. We're known for ethical, aggressive representation of our clients - and we're respected by our adversaries for it.We're looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. You'll manage an active caseload with the direct support and mentorship of a Senior Trial Attorney, gaining hands-on experience across the full litigation lifecycle - from discovery through trial prep. Recent law school graduates and attorneys early in their PI career are encouraged to apply; we invest heavily in training our associates.What You'll DoManage an active caseload of personal injury matters - motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and related claims - with guidance from a Senior Trial AttorneyTake and defend depositions of plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and witnessesDraft and respond to motions and oppositions, including Motions for Summary Judgment/Adjudication, Demurrers, and discovery motionsPropound and respond to written discoveryDraft complaints ranging from routine motor vehicle cases to more complex premises liability and assault mattersConduct legal research and handle law and motion practiceAssist with settlement negotiations and mediationsAssist with trial preparation, including Motions in Limine, jury instructions, and special verdict formsMaintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other partiesMeet all court-imposed and internal deadlinesWhat We're Looking For0-3 years of personal injury litigation experience (new admittees welcome)Active California Bar License, in good standingStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple cases and deadlinesComfortable working independently as well as collaboratively on a teamProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat DCCompensation & Benefits Pay: $90,000 - $130,000 per year, depending on experience401(k)Health, dental, and vision insuranceHealth savings account (HSA) and flexible spending account (FSA)Life insurancePaid time offReady to grow your litigation career with a firm that invests in its attorneys?
