Position Overview: We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our team. This role will involve managing a varied caseload, working directly with clients, and collaborating with colleagues on case strategy. The successful candidate will have the independence to handle cases with support from an experienced mentor and a well-trained staff. Key Responsibilities: Handle a range of cases in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, and potentially other civil matters. Conduct discovery review and analysis. Prepare and argue pretrial motions and negotiate case resolutions. Participate in depositions, draft pleadings, and develop trial materials as needed. Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients. Contribute to case discussions and strategy sessions with the team. Qualifications: Licensed to practice law in Indiana (required). 0-3 years of experience in relevant practice areas Strong research, writing, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to reliably commute to South Bend and Elkhart, Indiana.
