Overview

The Gori Law Firm is seeking a Bilingual Associate Attorney to represent clients affected by asbestos-related diseases. This full-time position involves working on assigned cases, conducting depositions, and interviewing clients and witnesses, with significant travel across the United States.

Key responsibilities

  • Represent clients injured by exposure to asbestos
  • Prepare assigned asbestos disease cases in a team environment
  • Travel 80% of the time to meet clients, potential clients, and witnesses
  • Conduct client and witness interviews to obtain and evaluate information
  • Gather and analyze information from various records
  • Prepare and conduct depositions of fact witnesses
  • Summarize testimony from fact witness depositions

Required skills

  • 2-5 years of attorney experience, preferably in personal injury or asbestos law
  • Competent to expert knowledge of legal procedures and processes
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and well-organized
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Compassion for helping terminally sick clients
  • Fluent in Spanish
