Job Description: Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Aviation Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded team handling complex aviation litigation. The position offers flexibility, with the option to work in a hybrid or fully remote capacity within California, while collaborating with a dynamic and globally connected legal team. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research and prepare detailed analyses Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials Interview clients, eyewitnesses, and other relevant parties Prepare and deliver comprehensive reporting to clients regarding case status and strategy Engage in significant direct communication with clients and insurers Assist in all phases of case development, litigation strategy, and trial preparation Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precisionCandidate Profile JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing 3-5 years of substantive litigation experience Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal briefs Strong legal research skills using platforms such as Westlaw, Lexis, or Nexis Experience preparing correspondence, opinion letters, and client reports Ability to manage document review and discovery processes Courtroom exposure, including depositions, hearings, and mediations, is preferred Aviation industry experience is a plus Federal court admission is a plus Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
