Our firm represents insured and self-insured clients across a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, transportation, retail, and hospitality, as well as public entities such as governmental bodies and school districts. We are known for delivering sophisticated, cost-effective defense strategies while giving our attorneys real trial and courtroom experience early in their careers. The RoleOur associates handle substantive work from day one. You will work directly with clients, building relationships and providing strategic guidance throughout the life of a case. Senior attorneys remain accessible and genuinely invested in your professional development, but you will be trusted with real ownership over your caseload rather than functioning as a background resource on someone else's files. This is an ideal opportunity for an associate who wants to keep developing courtroom skills, deepen client relationships, and take on increasing responsibility within a firm that values mentorship as much as results. What We're Looking For3-5 years of civil litigation experience, ideally in defense workStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsConfidence in depositions, the courtroom, and client communicationsAbility to manage a caseload independently while collaborating effectively with senior attorneys and support staffActive membership in good standing with the State Bar of CaliforniaCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $150,000-$200,000, commensurate with experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offMentorship and direct client contact from the outsetGenuine opportunity for professional growth within a well-established, respected firm
