This role is responsible for managing litigation matters across the firm's core practice areas and handling a broad range of responsibilities throughout all phases of litigation. Duties include legal drafting, discovery management (including drafting and responding to discovery), legal research, motion practice, court appearances, mediations, client and witness interviews, arbitration, and trial preparation.Essential Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications: J.D. from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School, with excellent academic credentials Civil defense background preferred Must have 1-2 years of Litigation Experience in following areas: First Party/Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Avoidance Litigation Having a strong interest in coverage is preferred Ability to manage caseload and litigation staff Be able to work independently but also collaboratively with Practice Group Leaders Strong writing and oral communication skills Excellent research and analytical abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Well-organized and detail-oriented Must have an active law license to practice in the state of Florida and be a member in good standing with the State Bar of FloridaQualified candidates may apply by sending an email with an attached resume to: Equal Opportunity Employer & Participates in E-VerifyFull Benefit Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Retirement 401(k) and Profit Sharing, long and short-term disability, Generous PTO, Paid Holidays, and more.
