Overview

Esposito Law LLC is seeking an Associate Attorney based in Willowbrook, Illinois, to support its litigation practice with a focus on executive and business representation. The role involves providing litigation support, conducting legal research, and assisting with trial preparation in both federal and state courts.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide litigation support and assist with trial preparation
  • Conduct thorough legal research using Westlaw
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Manage discovery processes and coordinate case management
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and court personnel
  • Collaborate within the team and work independently as needed
  • Participate in court proceedings with minimal travel

Required skills

  • Proficient in MS Word and Westlaw
  • Strong legal research skills
  • Experience drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
  • Capability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • General office operational experience
  • Experience assisting attorneys with litigation processes including trial preparation
  • At least 1 year of legal practice experience
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Illinois
  • Trial preparation experience
