Key responsibilities

  • Manage litigation matters across core practice areas
  • Conduct legal drafting and discovery management
  • Perform legal research and motion practice
  • Appear in court for hearings and trials
  • Conduct mediations and interviews with clients and witnesses
  • Prepare for arbitration and trial

Required skills

  • J.D. from an A.B.A. Accredited Law School
  • 1-2 years of litigation experience in Construction Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Products Liability, or Toxic Tort
  • Civil defense background preferred
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage caseload and litigation staff
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Active law license in Florida and a member in good standing with the State Bar of Florida
