Weed Law Group, PC is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its team, focusing on areas such as civil litigation, probate law, family law, and estate planning. The role requires strong legal skills, effective client communication, and a commitment to delivering tailored legal strategies for clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Provide legal advice and representation in civil litigation and family law.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and client management.
  • Attend court hearings and mediations to advocate for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to update them on case progress.

Required skills

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • California Bar admission required.
  • 1-3 years of attorney experience in a law office setting.
  • Knowledge of litigation and family law.
  • Background in estate planning and/or tax law is desirable.
  • Proficient in legal drafting and legal research.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
