Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000FLSA Classification: ExemptReports To: Director of Enrollment Management and StrategyPosition Purpose: Assists in strategically attracting and enrolling an academically strong and diverse student body through a highly selective admissions process in support of the San Francisco University High School vision and mission.At UHS, we believe that the deepest learning requires collaboration among people who embody a diversity of backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, and perspectives. We challenge ourselves to do this work on both a personal and an institutional level, recognizing that our community is part of a larger and more complex world.San Francisco University High School is seeking an Assistant or Associate Director of Admissions beginning August 1, 2026, or sooner. The Assistant/Associate Director of Admissions is an integral part of the Admissions Team who, under the guidance of the Director of Enrollment Management and Strategy, will work in collaboration with a dynamic Admissions Team to execute an admissions process that reflects the Mission, Vision, and Values of San Francisco University High School. Essential Responsibilities: Admissions/Recruitment Assists in the development and implementation of recruitment strategyPromotes UHS at middle schools, high school fairs, and other recruiting eventsAdvises prospective students, parents/guardians, and placement counselors on admissions and financial aid policies and proceduresActs as a full voting member of the Admissions Committee and makes admissions recommendationsHelp plan and execute all admissions events including Open Houses, Parent/Guardian Sessions, Financial Aid Information Night.Interviews applicants and completes interview reportsReads applicant files and evaluates candidates for admissionMaintains collaborative working relationships with UHS faculty and peer-school admissions personnelAssists with proofing and editing of admissions marketing materials (hard copy and electronic)Manages the scheduling and coordination of the Campus Visit Program and Revisit WeekManages the process of UNI Funds and other aspects of the supplemental Financial Aid ProgramParticipates in and supports all aspects of the Admissions Ambassador programCollaborate with Director of Communications to create admissions related social media content Other Functions Participates in the UHS community by advising students, coaching a sport, sponsoring a club, or participating in another student-centered activityProvides backup support to other admissions positions as neededStays abreast of current UHS programs, policies, and proceduresSome work on nights and weekends is requiredCompletes additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management and Strategy Qualifications Outstanding written and oral communicationAbility and desire to work in a high functioning collaborative team environmentStrong interpersonal and public relations skillsHighly professional and discreet in all pursuitsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentA growth mindset and a sense of humorFluency in a language other than English desiredUHS offers a competitive benefits package including retirement, medical, vision, dental and vacation.
