Job Description

Overview

Lycoming College is seeking a part-time Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach for its NCAA Division III program. This role involves managing various aspects of the volleyball program while upholding NCAA regulations and contributing to the overall athletics community at the college.

Key responsibilities

  • Model integrity, respect, and good sportsmanship for student-athletes
  • Communicate regularly with the Head Coach to enhance the athletics program
  • Promote the Women's Volleyball program professionally
  • Abide by NCAA DIII regulations and Landmark Conference rules
  • Collaborate with athletic trainers for student-athlete health and training
  • Organize and conduct practices and competitive events
  • Assist in recruitment and retention of student-athletes
  • Support academic development of student-athletes through meetings
  • Utilize technology resources for practice and game preparation

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Collegiate playing and coaching experience preferred

  • ACT 153 Clearances
  • Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Video breakdown and analysis experience
