Job Description

Overview

The Institution for Savings is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Loan Servicing to oversee the servicing of residential and commercial loan portfolios. This role emphasizes operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and high-quality customer service, while also addressing complex loan servicing issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain parameter reports
  • Prepare investor reporting
  • Conduct general ledger reconciliation and resolution
  • Set up purchased/participation loans
  • Correct transaction issues
  • Review daily reports
  • Act as Loan OnBoard liaison
  • Provide backup to the VP of Loan Operations
  • Mentor the servicing team on complex loan servicing questions

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience with loan servicing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
