SUMMARYThe Assistant Store Manager partners with the Store Manager to drive the growth, profitable operation, and preservation of 7 Brew's culture, mission statement, and values. The Assistant Store Manager is a leader of the crew and maintains genuine connections with them and the unique nuances of business at their stand.In addition to scheduled shifts, the Assistant Store Manager is expected to coach, train, perform admin duties, and help oversee operations across all dayparts. The Assistant Store Manager reports to his or her Store Manager.ROLE PURPOSE AND CAREER PATH:The Assistant Store Manager role is a pipeline position designed to develop into a Store Manager within 6-12 months. The role exists to:Support their home stand with additional leadershipCover Store Manager vacanciesAssist with new stand openingsDevelop into a Store Manager through structured runway and coachingRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Be proficient in all Brewista and Shift Lead duties and skill setsMaintain excellent wait times, cleanliness, and customer interactions through training, coaching, encouragement, and accountability when necessaryMaintain a positive culture through proper training, delegation, follow-up, hosting team building sessions, and balanced, frequent performance feedback to all members of the teamWork with the Store Manager to create a weekly shift schedule, maintaining a low cost of labor while ensuring quick wait times and short linesSupport strong operations across all shifts, ensuring consistent hours of operation are metTrack and order necessary inventory, small wares, and parts/equipment, while maintaining a low cost of goods sold through eliminating waste and accurate counting/orderingEnsure appropriate cash handling, deposits, and change for the standTake ownership of solutions, whether by solving the problem directly or looping in an approved partner or vendor - "make it happen"Ensure the crew is aware of and prepared for health inspections and consistently operates with an importance on food safetyPromptly implement and communicate directives from upper managementThoughtfully delegate tasks to Shift Leads and Brewistas to facilitate efficiency and appropriate developmentAssist at other locations relatively close to the home stand when askedAdditional duties as specified by Who Brew leadershipWORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 35-hour work weekWorking over 40 hours per week should be minimal and only with approval from the Regional Operations Manager, Director of Operations, or VP of OperationsWork a flexible schedule, which can include early mornings (5 a.m.) and late nights (11:30 p.m.)Regularly work weekends and be available to work holidays, if necessarySKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSCreate and maintain genuine, uplifting interactionsWork carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy productsBe able to work outside for prolonged periods, in all weather conditionsBe able to lift up to 50lbsBe able to stand comfortably for hours at a timeBe able to climb a ladder and use a stepladderBe able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the standSafely walk in between and around cars in the drive thru lineSafely use a utility knifeOperate any position in the stand during peak hoursMaintain awareness of the shift's operations while working a positionBe able to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues with team membersAdapt to problems and implement solutions during stressful situationsEffectively manage multiple projects and deadlinesEffectively lead and direct multiple personality types under pressureHas demonstrated leadership abilities in a fast-paced environmentBeginner-level proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteJob Type: Full-time/HourlyBonus: This position qualifies for a performance-based bonusBenefits:Dental insuranceEmployee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offPaid trainingVision insuranceExperience level:Previous leadership experien
