Overview

The Assistant Station Manager at Kelley Williamson Company will play a crucial role in maintaining store operations, leading employees, and ensuring excellent customer service. This position requires a proactive approach to managing daily tasks while overseeing inventory, cash, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide backup and support to the Station Manager
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and handle complaints
  • Assist in training, developing, and managing all station employees
  • Help manage cash, inventory, fuel, and pricing communications
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety of the station and surrounding areas
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork as directed
  • Communicate effectively with the Manager regarding job aspects
  • Be available for on-call support 24/7

Required skills

  • 1-3 years prior management experience in retail, grocery, or restaurant
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, stoop and bend, reach above shoulder level, and climb stairs or ladders
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent interpersonal and business skills
