Job Description

Overview

The Assistant Site Coordinator at Think Together plays a crucial role in supporting the Site Coordinator in managing an expanded learning program. This position involves ensuring quality service delivery and maintaining compliance with program and grant requirements while acting as a point of contact for stakeholders at the site level.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the expanded learning program
  • Supervise program staff including Afterschool Youth Leaders and Enrichment Instructors
  • Conduct interviews and make hiring recommendations
  • Provide training and ongoing support to program staff
  • Create and organize program schedules including academic and enrichment activities
  • Plan and participate in program events and field trips
  • Maintain communication with school personnel, students, and families
  • Recruit students to meet attendance outcomes
  • Facilitate classes and clubs as necessary
  • Monitor and enforce policies to create a positive learning environment
  • Assist in staff professional development and evaluations
  • Collect and submit required documentation and reports
  • Attend required trainings and meetings
  • Ensure workplace safety and maintain accurate records

Required skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Six months experience working with youth in educational settings
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in a supervisory role required
  • Ability to pass Live Scan background check
  • Clear TB test
