Overview

SSP America operates in nearly 40 countries, delivering unique dining experiences in airports. The Assistant Restaurant Manager at Sun King Brewery in Indianapolis will collaborate with the General Manager to ensure operational excellence and high standards for service and food quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations, including opening, service, and closing procedures
  • Hire, train, schedule, and mentor team members
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations
  • Maintain inventory and manage product quality and presentation
  • Oversee cash handling and reconciliation
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching
  • Address guest feedback promptly

Required skills

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience in full-service dining
  • 1+ year of kitchen or back-of-house supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage schedules
  • Knowledge of HACCP and health and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Time management skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
