Overview

SSP America is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for Sun King Brewery, located in the Indianapolis International Airport. The role involves leading restaurant operations and ensuring a high quality of service and food standards while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead daily restaurant operations including opening, service, and closing procedures
  • Hire, train, schedule, and mentor team members
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food sanitation regulations
  • Maintain inventory and manage product quality and presentation
  • Oversee cash handling and reconciliation
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members

Required skills

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience
  • 1+ year of kitchen or back-of-house supervisory experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage schedules
  • Knowledge of HACCP and ServSafe
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
