Overview

The University of Cincinnati's College of Medicine is seeking a full-time Assistant Registrar for the Student Affairs department. This role is essential to support the college's academic operations, requiring collaboration with the Registrar and administrative staff to manage student registration, records, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Performance and Academic Achievement Committee (PAAC)
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and materials
  • Schedule meetings and manage email voting processes
  • Record and maintain meeting minutes
  • Communicate PAAC decisions to students
  • Monitor student alerts and track exam failures
  • Plan and coordinate the annual Honors Day ceremony
  • Support Registrar's Office responsibilities for off-cycle students
  • Assist with student records, registration, degree verification, and compliance with FERPA

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Five years of experience in a registrar's office or related administrative role
  • Familiarity with student information systems and records management
