Assistant Property ManagerStillwater, MNSalary Range: $55,000 - $65,000Property Management / Multi-Family Real Estate About the Opportunity - Assistant Property Manager A growing multi-family real estate organization is seeking an organized and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to help oversee the daily operations of a residential community. This role partners closely with the Property Manager to support resident satisfaction, leasing efforts, financial performance, and overall property operations while delivering an exceptional living experience for residents. Key Responsibilities - Assistant Property Manager Assist with the day-to-day management and operations of a multi-family residential community. Support leasing activities, including prospect follow-up, resident tours, application processing, and lease administration. Provide outstanding customer service by responding to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely manner. Assist with rent collections, delinquency management, and resident account administration. Process move-ins, renewals, move-outs, and related documentation. Maintain accurate resident files and ensure compliance with company policies and housing regulations. Coordinate communication between residents, maintenance teams, vendors, and management. Assist in preparing reports related to occupancy, leasing activity, budgets, and property performance. Support resident retention initiatives, community events, and resident engagement programs. Step in to support property operations and leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Property Manager. Qualifications - Assistant Property Manager High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in property management, leasing, resident services, hospitality, customer service, or a related field. Prior multi-family housing experience preferred. Strong understanding of leasing practices, resident relations, and property operations. Experience with rent collection, lease administration, and resident account management is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, AppFolio, or similar platforms is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
