Overview

Roers Companies is looking for an energetic Assistant Property Manager to join their team at Mural Apartments in Aurora, Colorado. This role involves helping residents find their homes and connecting them with the community while promoting a positive living environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Actively solicit business to achieve occupancy and rental goals.
  • Market the property through advertising and responding to inquiries.
  • Lead property tours for prospective residents.
  • Train staff and model effective sales techniques.
  • Manage rent collection efforts, including delinquent accounts.
  • Assist in managing the property’s budget and financial decisions.
  • Maintain the accuracy of resident ledgers and files.
  • Inspect units during move-in and move-outs.
  • Act as Property Manager in their absence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience
  • Yardi experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Experience with marketing and leasing initiatives
  • Detail-oriented with good time management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Strong integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to the position
