About the RoleAs an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in the success of Normandy Manor Apartments and the 29 single-family homes in Lake County. You'll support the Property Manager in daily operations, ensuring efficient financial management, top-tier customer service, and smooth community operations.Your responsibilities will include: Processing invoices, rent payments, fees, and bank depositsLeasing apartments and single-family homes in the portfolioManaging resident renewals and lease agreementsPreparing monthly close-out and financial reportsPerforming account reconciliations and financial tracking in Yardi Voyager What You Bring to the Table Experience: 1-2 years in property management, leasing, bookkeeping, or related operationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalentTech-Savvy: Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Yardi Voyager experience a plusPeople Skills: Exceptional communication, customer service, and negotiation abilitiesAttention to Detail: Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skillsLegal Know-How: Understanding of Fair Housing laws and multi-family housing regulationsDriver's License: Must have a valid license and an acceptable driving record with a reliable car to use during the workdayBackground checks: Must pass a background check and drug test, including marijuana.
