Overview

Slate Brands is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for their fragrance division. This full-time, remote role involves end-to-end project coordination for fragrance launches and ensures that project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met by collaborating with various internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Track project milestones and prepare/update project calendars
  • Coordinate with internal teams including product development, marketing, operations, and finance
  • Manage samples, component deliveries, and approvals with vendors and external partners
  • Support inspection activities and quality checks throughout the supply chain
  • Monitor logistics and expedite needs
  • Maintain accurate project documentation
  • Identify and communicate risks, delays, or resource constraints to stakeholders
  • Support cross-functional meetings and prepare status reports
  • Contribute to process improvements for fragrance project workflows

Required skills

  • Strong project coordination and project management skills
  • Experience with expediting responsibilities
  • Knowledge of inspection and quality control practices
  • Understanding of logistics management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines remotely
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Excel, project tracking software)
  • Prior experience in beauty, fragrance, or consumer packaged goods (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, project management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Asana, or similar PM platforms (bonus)
