Overview

The Assistant Program Director at COMHAR will work at the Outpatient Restoration Long Term Structured Residence in Easton, PA. This role focuses on providing intensive mental health treatment for justice-involved adults diagnosed with severe mental illness, aiming to promote recovery and self-determination.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee clinical and administrative operations of the ORLTSR
  • Promote individual and group psychotherapy using psychotherapeutic interventions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Facilitate required inspections and maintain safety standards
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Support a collaborative work environment and adapt to changing priorities

Required skills

  • Master's degree in a clinical discipline
  • 2 years relevant mental health and supervisory experience
  • Professional license or certification (preferred)
  • Forensic education or professional experience (preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the behavioral health system
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creativity in problem-solving
