Overview

The Assistant Production Supervisor in the Rework Department at Jabil Circuit, Inc. is responsible for overseeing production processes and assisting the Supervisor in setting production priorities. The role involves coordinating activities with various departments to ensure efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisor in establishing production priorities
  • Establish production and quality control standards
  • Minimize excessive material on production floor
  • Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control
  • Review production, quality control, and operational reports
  • Minimize scrap and materials request order (MRO) usage
  • Ensure clean operating areas at each workstation
  • Implement methods to improve production metrics
  • Monitor all production metrics and complete monthly report card
  • Maintain proper stocking of operational supplies and equipment
  • Monitor the SPC system for repetitive issues
  • Compile, store, and retrieve production data
