Overview

The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) for the Centralized Telemetry Unit at BJC Healthcare will oversee daily operations and lead a dynamic team in a technology-driven environment. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care while managing personnel and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate nursing staff performance, including hiring, training, and assigning work
  • Ensure compliance with departmental operational goals
  • Oversee patient care and maintain equipment related to telemetry monitoring
  • Create and implement collaborative care plans based on patient needs
  • Conduct payroll updates and manage staffing needs including nursing assignments
  • Prepare staff communications and lead team meetings
  • Conduct performance evaluations and offer coaching as necessary

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 2-5 years of relevant RN experience
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring and care delivery
  • Leadership skills and experience preferred
  • Proficiency in systems such as Epic
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
