Pelican Brewing Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for their new location in Yachats, Oregon. This role is pivotal in building a community-focused atmosphere for guests while upholding the company’s core values and ensuring smooth operational management.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Yachats location in partnership with the General Manager
  • Motivate team members through relationship building and guidance
  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences consistently
  • Create written SOPs for quality and service consistency
  • Recruit, train, and retain team members
  • Support a culture of exemplary service and memorable guest experiences
  • Build relationships with sister properties and local businesses

Required skills

  • Previous food and beverage leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations
  • Ability to work on feet for at least 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds constantly and 100 pounds occasionally
