Overview

The Assistant Manager at Pelican Brewing Company will join the leadership team to help implement the company's core values throughout all operations, reporting directly to the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. The role involves overseeing daily operations at the Siletz Bay location, fostering team motivation, creating SOPs, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations in partnership with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager
  • Motivate the team through relationship building and consistent guidance
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience consistently
  • Create written SOPs to ensure consistency in quality and service
  • Support the service culture that creates memorable guest experiences
  • Recruit, train, and retain top team members
  • Build relationships with sister properties and local businesses

Required skills

  • Previous food and beverage leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for team building
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant operations
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds
  • Capability to work on feet for at least 8 hours and manage physical demands
