Overview

Pine Manor Inc is seeking a dedicated Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing maintenance operations at their facility in Orland, Indiana. The role involves managing a team of maintenance personnel, ensuring efficient operation of equipment and facilities, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Delegate work to Maintenance Technicians and ensure timely completion
  • Schedule and oversee groundskeeping tasks
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant processing equipment
  • Order supplies for new equipment installs and oversee installations
  • Ensure all repairs are scheduled or completed as needed
  • Assist in planning for new equipment installations
  • Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings and document attendance
  • Handle disciplinary actions and personnel issues for maintenance employees

Required skills

  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and industrial automation systems
  • Understanding of facilities management principles
  • Mechanical knowledge with experience in electrical systems
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on safety
