Overview

Groupe Pro Accès is seeking an Assistant Manager in locksmithing to support the manager at its Sherbrooke branch. The role involves both management assistance and hands-on work, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of locks and related hardware.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell, maintain, and repair various products such as locks, handles, and keys
  • Assist customers in-store and over the phone, providing advice based on their needs
  • Operate the cash register and manage transactions
  • Work in the workshop on key systems, lock repairs, and key cutting
  • Manage the branch in the absence of the manager or during peak times
  • Respond to service calls and complete agreed work
  • Accurately fill out installation tracking sheets and submit to the general manager
  • Open and/or close the Sherbrooke branch when the general manager is absent

Required skills

  • DEP in locksmithing or equivalent diploma
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Possession of a private security agency license or commitment to obtain one
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced French proficiency, both spoken and written
  • Intermediate English proficiency for verbal communication
  • Customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
