Overview

Groupe Pro Accès is seeking an Assistant Manager in Locksmithing for their Sherbrooke branch. This role involves aiding the manager in various management tasks, as well as performing lock installation, maintenance, and repair both on-site and in the workshop.

Key responsibilities

  • Sell, maintain, and repair various products such as locks and keys
  • Assist customers in-store and over the phone, providing advice based on their needs
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions
  • Work in the workshop to create key systems and execute customer requests
  • Manage the branch in the manager's absence or during peak times
  • Respond to service calls and carry out agreed-upon work
  • Accurately fill out installation tracking sheets and report to the General Manager
  • Open and/or close the Sherbrooke branch in the absence of the General Manager

Required skills

  • DEP in locksmithing or equivalent diploma
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Security Agent license or commitment to obtain one
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced French (oral and written)
  • Intermediate English for communication with anglophone customers
  • Customer service orientation
  • Attention to detail and rigor
