Fresh Baguette is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant General Manager for its bakery cafes in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. The role involves overseeing daily operations, training team members, and ensuring the highest standards of service quality, all while promoting Fresh Baguette's core values of integrity, respect, reliability, teamwork, commitment, and customer orientation.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure high service quality.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and support team members.
  • Train team members on food safety and product knowledge.
  • Provide a warm and inviting customer experience.
  • Support recruitment processes, including hiring and scheduling.
  • Mentor and develop staff members.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Manage inventory and track stock levels.
  • Promote Fresh Baguette's core values with integrity.

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Physical stamina to lift 50lbs+ and stand for 8+ hours
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in training team members
  • Knowledge of health and food safety codes
