Fresh Baguette is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant General Manager for their bakery cafes in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, training team members, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience while upholding the company's core values.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations ensuring high standards of service quality
  • Delegate tasks effectively to support team workload distribution
  • Train team members on food safety and product knowledge
  • Support recruitment processes including hiring and scheduling
  • Mentor and develop staff members for team growth
  • Enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
  • Promote Fresh Baguette's core values with integrity and enthusiasm
  • Manage inventory and track stock levels

Required skills

  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work for 8+ hours
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for coffee, bread, and French baked goods
  • Experience in training team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and health codes
